Product Description


Introduction:
Refer to the ASME BPE and ISPE requirements for pharmaceutical water system engineering design to design the water storage and distribution system to ensure that the drawing design, material selection, welding construction, pickling and passivation, system control, parameter monitoring and other aspects meet the pharmaceutical factory's use and verification requirements, and ensure that the quality of water delivered to the point of use fully meets the pharmaceutical water quality standards of the United States Pharmacopoeia USP, the European Pharmacopoeia EP, and the Chinese Pharmacopoeia CP.

Working Principle

The storage tank stores purified water or water for injection from the preparation system. The water is delivered to the production line or cleaning station of the pharmaceutical factory through a circulation pipeline by a sanitary centrifugal pump. The water then returns to the storage tank and is cleaned online by a spray ball.
 

It is necessary to maintain positive pressure in the system to prevent outside air from entering the system and contaminating the water quality.

It is necessary to maintain the flow rate of the pipeline to ensure that the system is always in a turbulent state and flush the inner wall of the pipeline and the blind pipe at 3D.

The system temperature needs to be maintained to prevent the growth of microorganisms and the formation of red rust.

Regular disinfection is required to prevent excessive microorganisms. Appropriate disinfection methods should be selected to prevent external factors from contaminating the entire system.

The system should be designed to be drainable to prevent the formation of stagnant water and the breeding of bacteria or microorganisms during shutdown or maintenance.

The return water flow rate cannot be lower than 1m/s, and the return water volume should meet the online cleaning requirements of the inner wall of the storage tank.

The tank level should be controlled to prevent cavitation in the centrifugal pump.
