Product Structure

Working Principle:
In the production of high purity of sorbitol, mannitol, using membrane separation technology to nano purification of glucose I.E. liquid to realize "one-step" production and no use the crystallization process of glucose. Its principle is to choose the special material and pore size of membrane, using the selective through of membrane and suitable membrane technology, to separate glucose, other sugar and pigment completely, then obtain the liquid glucose with high purity.

Product Features

1. Reduce the running cost
   1)In the traditional process, the glucose is needed to be evaporated to DS=70-74% for the crystallization.
      In the new process, just evaporate the glucose to the required DS value. By this way, it is reduced the steam consumption.

   2)The installed power of the nanofiltration membrane system is about 28% of crystallization and centrifugal system. It is greatly reduced.
  3)The nanofiltration membrane process can save the consumption of acid and alkali and reduce the discharge of wastewater. In the traditional process, the crystallized mother liquor needs to be recycled to the decoloring section, by this way, a large amount of acid and alkali is consumed and a large amount of wastewater is generated. After the use of nanofiltration membrane, no need this process.
   4)In the traditional process, the crystallized glucose needs to be heated and dissolved, consume water and heat energy. There is not the process after using the NF membrane.
   5)Low depreciation of NF membrane processing equipment. About 15-20% of the traditional crystallization process.
   6)Less labor needed. 1-2 workers per shift.
   7)Less land needed.


2. Improve the quality and yield
  The purity of glucose solution can be improved to 99.6% or above by using the nanofiltration membrane to purify glucose without crystallization. Because the production time is greatly shortened and the production section is greatly reduced, the impurities such as heterosaccharides and alcohols are reduced and improve the product quality. At the same time, because the process is shortened, the loss is also reduced, so as to improve the product yield.


3. Shorten the production cycle and improve the production efficiency
   In the process of producing crystalline glucose, the vertical crystallization tank is used for continuous crystallization. The time from the feed sugar of the pre-crystallization tank to the inlet and outlet of the vertical crystallization tank is about 72~100h, and the production cycle is long. After adopting the "one-step" process, there is no need for crystallization process, and the nanofiltration membrane realizes continuous feeding and discharging. It only takes 15 minutes for the material feeding to enter the membrane stack to the outlet. Compared with the traditional method, it is almost ignored, which greatly shortens the production cycle and improves the production efficiency for the enterprise.


4. Reduce equipment investment
   In the traditional process, the production of crystalline glucose requires large number of vertical crystallizers and centrifuges, high equipment investment. 
Taking sorbitol with an annual output of 60,000 tons as an example, the investment of vertical crystallizer and centrifuge needs more than 20 million yuan. But the purity of glucose solution can be improved to 99.6% by the "one step" process, without crystallization and centrifuge. The investment of the nanofiltration membrane is 50% of the vertical crystallizer and centrifuge, which is greatly reduced.


5. Stable running condition, high automatic and less labor consumption
NF membrane can achieve continous, full automatic operation, stable running condition and easy & simple operation. Only 1-2 persons per shift. Easy production management.


6. Small land area
   For the annual output of 60000 ton of equipment, area is 400m2 and height is less than 3m. 


7. Strong universality of the equipment
  The nanofiltration membrane has strong universality, which can be used in the production of glucose, sorbitol, fructose, oligosamoglycan, maltitol, erysitol, xylitol, oligosaccharide and other products. It can be flexibly used according to the production requirements of starch sugar enterprises.
