Product Description

Introduction:
Potato is one of the main raw materials for starch manufacturing in China, especially in North China. Compared with other kinds of starch, potato starch features with big starch granules, high amylose polymerization degree, low gelatinization temperature, high paste viscosity, good elasticity, low protein content, no stimulation , whiter, and not easy to gel and degradation, it is widely used in textile, oil exploration, feed and food industries. In recent years, with the development in the international and domestic food market, the surge in demand for high quality potato starch combined with potato starch's irreplaceable natural attributes with other kinds of starch, making it the first choice for home and abroad starch processing industry products, it market prospects are vast and bright.

Process Description

1. The potato is cleaned and grinded, and the protein slurry is extracted by a two-stage decanter centrifuge. The protein slurry enters the protein slurry tank;

2. After heating, add lactic acid bacteria, biological fermentation for 6 hours, PH value is 5-4.5, use decanter centrifuge to separate and extract protein;

3. The separated protein is dealkali and degummed;

4. Protein washing, mixing, flash sterilization.

5. After sterilization, the protein is dehydrated by decanter centrifuge, and dried by vacuum low-temperature drying unit. The dried protein is crushed to the required fineness;

6. Starch separated from pulp and slag is fermented by two-stage lactic acid bacteria and washed by cyclone to ensure the whiteness and viscosity of starch;

7. The fiber after the four-stage centrifugal sieve is washed by enzyme hydrolysis, dehydrated, dried, crushed, and finished by dietary fiber.
Three kinds of products are separated from potato processing, namely protein, starch and fiber.
Using this process, the protein yield can reach more than 80%, starch yield can reach more than 95%, compared with high temperature flocculation, energy saving 30%.
